MY DAUGHTER MADE ME THIS WONDERFUL GIFT FOR MY BIRTHDAY. I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE IT WITH YOU

My dad is saved for now. Like the nurses said, he is like a cat with 9 lives. But he can't return with
my mom at their residence because he need a special diet. So for now, he has to wait at the hospital until he will have a place in a special residence. I still very busy for now because I going to visit him at the hospital and my mother at the residence every days, and I take care of my house, work, medical, etc..... So I still don't have a lot of time for DA. But I want to give a special tanks for all the favs, friends and nice comments I received. My apologizes for not answering to all. I love you.

Born in Montreal, Monique Groleau showed a marked interest for painting at a tender age, with a preference for portraits . As a teenager, she earned pocket money by drawing portraits in pastel and charcoal. She lived for six years in Africa where she developed an ability for doing portraits from other cultures. She is fascinated by the light of the tropics as expressed by Gauguin but she looks to Colville for the realism in her art.

Monique holds a degree in art education from the Université du Québec and teaches painting in Gatineau.
