I'm back again=D You did a marvelous job of depicting the daily life of these peanuts vendors. I love the way you painted their outfits, with all the care for every fold of the cloth and the print on that peachy saree (is that what it's called?) just beautiful!... everything looks just so real. And of course, all other details are also well rendered. Moniki, you are so talented:clap:

Thank you, I put this painting in my gallery for a while but nobody seem to notice this one. That's why I put it in my feature painting. When I make this painting, I paint the sand and the womans first. When I arrived at the baskets I just said Ho no! and it took me one year just to decide myself to paint it. Painting the baskets was as long as painting the rest of the canvas. Plus jamais d'osier, celui-là a mis ma patience à rude épreuve.

You're welcome. I could tell the work must have taken you a long time. But I did not think it was the baskets. I thought the women's attire was the tedious part. But, it was good you decided to complete the painting. Worth the trouble after all, for it's just lovely.

Thanks again! Do you my photography? That is my daugther

You're welcome again. Yes, I looked at your photoshopped images and I did guess it was your lovely daughter. But to tell you the truth I do not know how to appreciate works done digitally ...yet, so did not know how to comment=D I did love the monochrome you did for each season though:)

This is an INCREDIBLE work! I love the wonderful detail, the colours and shadow, not to mention the wonderful expressions on these womens faces! :+fav:

I love the sundrenched depth of this painting. This is beautiful work! It was worth all the trouble you took doing the baskets, because they are so realistic and don't distract from the women and the sunlight.

You're welcome. I love the sun in that painting. It's so warm and real and makes me wish I was there!
