Acrylic on canvas
Original size 10" X 20"
I used gold painting for the background and iridescent painting for the bird and I put a very glossy varnish on this painting. I try to make this painting look like a lacquer panel and that's why it was difficult to take the photo. I hope you will enjoy it anyway

This painting is stunning! I love the rich colors and the details of the feathers. Amazing!!

I alwaus had an idea by myself to use gold and other metallic paints in the pictures... Wasn't sure - it will be good or not... You are good example! Why not after all? By myself I decorate rooms with golden paints - for me looks great!! :D

It's very beautiful:clap:That was a clever way of using all the medium you had stated to make the panel look like a lacquered piece. I love it:nod: You painted it marvelously, as always! But why did you have a little plant there, obscuring the end of the peacock's beautiful tail:? Aside from that, I'd love to have something like this in my home, so pretty!

This is not a small plant :giggle: this is the end of the feather :giggle: it finish that way. I did'nt know the name of that bird was peacock, thanks for telling me. I made this painting with a photo from India and this is a wild peacock. My oldest son loves this painting so much. I had to give it to him.
